After hours private hire

Our main private hire option allows Coasters Park to be hired after the park has closed to the public.

Your group can enjoy selected rides and attractions exclusively during the agreed hire period, without the usual public park operation. This makes after hours hire ideal for celebrations, group occasions and other private events.

The exact attractions available will be confirmed when your private hire is arranged.

Private hire does not mean that every area of Coasters Park will be open. Certain attractions and areas are excluded from private hire for operational, maintenance or safety reasons.

Selected out of season private hire

Private hire may also be available during the Coasters Park off season.

Out of season hire is offered on a limited number of selected dates only. The park's off season is used for essential maintenance, inspections, refurbishment and preparation for the next operating season, so we cannot offer private hire throughout the entire off season.

Available dates will therefore depend on the park's maintenance programme and operational requirements.

If an out of season private hire date is available, the attractions included in the booking will be confirmed in advance.

Attractions not available for private hire

Some Coasters Park attractions are not available to be opened as part of private hire. The following attractions are excluded from private hire:

The Zoo: The Zoo is not available for private hire and will remain closed during private events.

Under the Sea: Under the Sea is not available as part of private hire and will remain closed.

Fright Nights attractions: Our Fright Nights attractions are not available for private hire outside their designated Fright Nights operation.

This includes: Terror's Twists, End Den, No Way Out, X End Time.

These attractions cannot be opened as part of a standard private hire booking.

What's included?

Depending on your booking, private hire can include access to a selection of Coasters Park's rides and attractions.

Your booking confirmation will specify:

• The date and time of your private hire

• The agreed end time

• Which rides and attractions will operate

• Which areas are available to your group

• Event Hall availability, where requested

• Any additional arrangements agreed with the Coasters Park team

The attractions available can vary depending on the date, season, maintenance requirements and staffing.

The Event Hall

Need somewhere to celebrate, eat, meet or host activities during your event?

The Event Hall can also be made available as part of a private hire booking, subject to availability.

The space can be used for a variety of private events, including celebrations, group activities, parties and other occasions.

How the Event Hall is used can be discussed when arranging your private hire, allowing the space to be organised around the requirements of your event.

Ride operation

All rides included in a private hire will operate within their normal safety and operating procedures.

Your private hire has an agreed start and end time. At the agreed end time, ride operations will finish, even if guests have not used every available ride.

Ride availability can also change during the event. A ride may be temporarily unavailable because of operational requirements, maintenance, weather conditions or other circumstances.

Private hire does not guarantee that every ride will operate continuously for the entire booking.

Safety comes first

The safety of our guests and staff remains our highest priority during every private hire event.

All normal Coasters Park ride safety procedures continue to apply during private hire. Guests must follow instructions from ride operators and other members of the Coasters Park team at all times.

If an emergency, safety issue or other situation requiring immediate action occurs, a ride or attraction may be stopped without notice.

This may result in guests being asked to leave a ride, an attraction being temporarily closed, or operations across part of the park being suspended while the situation is dealt with.

If a ride is stopped for safety reasons, our team will assess the situation and determine when, or if, it is safe for the ride to reopen.

Your agreed end time

Every private hire booking has a confirmed end time.

The end time is the time at which the private hire finishes and ride operations cease.

Guests should therefore allow enough time to enjoy the attractions available during their booking. Rides will not continue operating beyond the agreed end time simply because a queue or ride cycle has not yet been completed.

The park team may begin final closure procedures shortly before the agreed end time to ensure the site can be safely closed.

Maintenance and availability

Coasters Park operates a substantial maintenance programme throughout the year.

During the off-season, rides and attractions may be undergoing maintenance, inspection, refurbishment or other preparation work. This is why out-of-season private hire is only offered on selected dates.

Even where a private hire date is available, individual attractions may be unavailable because of maintenance or operational requirements.

The attractions available for your booking will be confirmed before the event.

Private events and celebrations

Private hire can be used for a wide range of occasions.

Whether you're organising a birthday celebration, group event, special occasion or another private gathering, Coasters Park provides a unique setting for your event.

The Event Hall can provide an additional space for guests to meet, celebrate or take part in activities, while selected rides can provide the main attraction for the evening.

Before your event

Before your private hire begins, you'll receive confirmation of the arrangements for your booking.

This will include the agreed hire period and the attractions available.

Guests attending the event will be expected to follow all Coasters Park rules and instructions from members of the park team.

Private hire does not remove the normal requirements that apply to guests using our rides and attractions.

During your event

Our park team will be present to operate the available attractions and manage the event.

Guests should follow instructions from ride operators and other Coasters Park staff at all times.

If an attraction needs to close temporarily, our team will provide information where appropriate and will work to resume operation when it is safe and practical to do so.
