Chungas World operates an in-game CCTV system to help maintain safety, security, and fair gameplay across the Chungas World community.
This CCTV & Recording Policy explains how the Chungas World CCTV system operates, where cameras may be installed, who may access CCTV, when CCTV views may be manually recorded, and how recordings may be used.
This policy should be read alongside the Chungas World Community Rules & Code of Conduct, Game Server Rules Policy, Moderation & Enforcement Policy, Appeals Policy, and Data Collection & Privacy Policy.
Chungas World operates an in-game CCTV system to help maintain safety, security, and fair gameplay across the Chungas World community.
CCTV cameras can be viewed by authorised members of the Chungas World Admin Team.
The CCTV system itself does not automatically record or store footage.
Where necessary, an authorised member of the Chungas World Admin Team may manually record the CCTV view for an appropriate purpose, such as investigating an incident or suspected rule violation.
CCTV cameras may be installed in public areas and on or around Chungas World properties.
Cameras may be placed in locations including:
Public roads.
Public areas.
Businesses and other properties where permitted.
Restricted or security-sensitive areas.
Other locations where CCTV is considered appropriate.
Cameras will not normally be installed inside player homes unless specifically requested and approved by the Chungas World Admin Team.
Players may request an in-game CCTV camera to be installed outside their property.
Where approved, CCTV installation may be provided free of charge.
Requests should be made through the contact details provided on the Chungas World website.
The Chungas World Admin Team may refuse a request where the proposed location is unsuitable, unnecessary, or conflicts with Chungas World rules or other requirements.
Players may suggest locations where they believe an additional CCTV camera would improve security.
Examples may include:
Public roads.
Busy public areas.
Locations experiencing repeated incidents.
Areas requiring additional security.
All requests are subject to review by the Chungas World Admin Team.
CCTV views are not available for general public access.
Access to the CCTV system is restricted to authorised members of the Chungas World Admin Team.
Players will not normally be given direct access to the CCTV system.
CCTV views must not be accessed, shared, or used by unauthorised persons.
CCTV may be viewed where reasonably necessary to:
Maintain security.
Protect players and staff.
Monitor public areas.
Investigate incidents.
Investigate suspected rule violations.
Investigate unauthorised access to restricted areas.
Assist with moderation decisions.
Assist with appeals or investigations.
Protect Chungas World properties and systems.
Investigate suspected cheating, exploits, or other prohibited behaviour.
CCTV must not be deliberately misused for personal reasons.
Players must not deliberately tamper with, disable, damage, destroy, obstruct, bypass, or otherwise interfere with Chungas World CCTV systems.
This includes attempting to:
Disable a camera.
Damage or destroy a camera.
Block a camera's view.
Bypass CCTV systems.
Gain unauthorised access to CCTV.
Interfere with CCTV monitoring.
Use bugs or glitches to avoid CCTV monitoring.
Prevent an authorised Admin Team member from viewing a camera.
Tampering with CCTV may result in enforcement action under the Chungas World Community Rules, Game Server Rules, and Moderation & Enforcement Policy.
CCTV may be used to monitor restricted areas, including areas marked:
Staff Only.
Private Access.
Keep Out.
Authorised Personnel Only.
Restricted Area.
No Entry.
Staff Access Only.
Ride Area Keep Out.
Any other clearly marked restricted area.
CCTV may assist the Chungas World Admin Team in identifying unauthorised access to these areas.
CCTV being present in an area does not give players permission to enter that area.
The Chungas World CCTV system does not automatically record or continuously store footage.
An authorised member of the Chungas World Admin Team may manually record a CCTV view when reasonably necessary for an appropriate Chungas World purpose.
Manual recordings may be made for purposes including:
Investigating an incident.
Investigating suspected rule violations.
Investigating unauthorised access to restricted areas.
Providing evidence for moderation or enforcement decisions.
Investigating suspected cheating, exploits, or other prohibited behaviour.
Protecting players or staff.
Protecting Chungas World properties or systems.
Supporting an appeal or investigation.
Admin Team members should only make recordings where there is a reasonable Chungas World purpose for doing so.
Where an Admin Team member has manually recorded a CCTV view, the recording may be considered as evidence during a moderation or investigation process.
Other evidence may include:
Player reports.
Screenshots.
Player recordings.
Server logs.
Chat records where available.
Other relevant information.
A CCTV recording does not automatically determine the outcome of a moderation decision.
The Admin Team may consider CCTV recordings alongside other available evidence.
Manual CCTV recordings are not available for general public access.
Access to a manual recording should be limited to authorised members of the Chungas World Admin Team where reasonably necessary.
Players must not request, obtain, copy, distribute, or share a manual CCTV recording without permission from an authorised Admin Team member.
Chungas World will handle personal information in accordance with the Chungas World Data Collection & Privacy Policy.
This policy primarily relates to the in-game CCTV and manual recording systems operated within Chungas World.
The CCTV system itself does not automatically record or store footage.
Manual recordings may only be made by authorised members of the Chungas World Admin Team for appropriate Chungas World purposes.
Chungas World cannot guarantee that every CCTV camera will always be operational or available.
Technical problems, maintenance, server changes, game updates, or other circumstances may affect CCTV availability.
Players must not deliberately exploit a CCTV outage or technical issue to break Chungas World rules.
Authorised Admin Team members must use CCTV responsibly and only for legitimate Chungas World purposes.
Admin Team members must not:
Use CCTV to harass or target players.
Use CCTV for personal reasons.
Share CCTV views or recordings with unauthorised people.
Make unnecessary recordings.
Use CCTV access to gain an unfair personal advantage.
Abuse their Admin Team permissions.
Concerns about possible misuse of CCTV by an Admin Team member may be reported to the Chungas World Server Owner.
Failure to follow this policy may result in enforcement action.
Depending on the circumstances, enforcement action may include:
A warning.
Removal from an area.
Temporary restrictions.
A kick from the server.
Temporary suspension or ban.
Permanent ban.
Removal of access to Chungas World services.
Serious or deliberate attempts to compromise CCTV security may result in immediate enforcement without a prior warning.
If enforcement action is taken under this policy, members may use the Chungas World Appeals Policy where an appeal is available.
Appeals should be submitted through the official Chungas World appeals process.
