Effective Date: 18 August 2026
Chungas World aims to make moderation and enforcement decisions fairly and responsibly.
This Appeals Policy explains how members can ask Chungas World to review certain moderation decisions, restrictions, suspensions, bans, or other enforcement actions.
This policy should be read alongside the Chungas World Community Rules & Code of Conduct, Game Server Rules Policy, and Moderation & Enforcement Policy.
A member may submit an appeal if they believe that a moderation or enforcement decision affecting them was incorrect, unfair, or should be reconsidered.
Appeals should normally be submitted by the person who received the enforcement action.
Members should not submit appeals on behalf of another person unless Chungas World staff have given permission.
Depending on the circumstances, the following may be appealed:
Warnings.
Temporary restrictions.
Kicks.
Temporary suspensions.
Temporary bans.
Permanent bans.
Removal from an event or activity.
Other significant moderation or enforcement actions.
Chungas World may decide that certain decisions are not eligible for appeal where there is a reasonable reason to do so.
Appeals should be submitted through the official Chungas World contact or appeals process.
Appeals: www.chungasworld.co.uk/contact
When submitting an appeal, provide as much relevant information as possible.
This may include:
Your Chungas World username or player name.
The date of the enforcement action.
The type of enforcement action.
The server, event, or service involved.
An explanation of why you believe the decision should be reconsidered.
Any relevant evidence.
Any additional information you believe staff should consider.
Appeals must be honest and accurate.
Do not:
Deliberately provide false information.
Edit or manipulate evidence to mislead staff.
Impersonate another person.
Hide relevant information for the purpose of misleading staff.
Submit an appeal using another person's account without permission.
Providing false or misleading information may result in further enforcement.
Appeals must be submitted respectfully.
Do not:
Threaten staff.
Harass staff.
Insult staff.
Spam repeated appeals.
Attempt to pressure staff into changing a decision.
Encourage other people to contact staff on your behalf.
Use abusive or discriminatory language.
A disrespectful appeal may be rejected or closed.
An appeal may be reviewed by an authorised Chungas World staff member.
Where reasonably possible, the person reviewing the appeal should consider:
The original reason for the enforcement action.
Relevant evidence.
The member's explanation.
Previous enforcement history where relevant.
Any new information provided.
The seriousness of the incident.
Chungas World may request additional information before making a decision.
After reviewing an appeal, Chungas World may:
Uphold the original decision.
Reduce the enforcement action.
Remove the enforcement action.
Change the length of a restriction, suspension, or ban.
Replace the original action with another appropriate action.
Request additional information before making a final decision.
An appeal does not guarantee that an enforcement action will be changed or removed.
Unless Chungas World staff state otherwise, a ban, suspension, or restriction remains active while an appeal is being reviewed.
Members must not attempt to bypass an active restriction while waiting for an appeal decision.
Attempting to bypass a ban or suspension may result in additional enforcement.
Members should not repeatedly submit appeals about the same decision without providing meaningful new information.
Repeated spam, abusive, or misleading appeals may be rejected and may result in further enforcement action.
A new appeal may be considered where there is significant new evidence or information that was not available during the original review.
Where enforcement relates to unauthorised access to areas marked Staff Only, Private Access, Keep Out, Government Staff Only, Authorised Personnel Only, Restricted Area, No Entry, Staff Access Only, Ride Area Keep Out, or similar restrictions, the member may explain the circumstances in their appeal.
Accidental entry should be clearly explained.
Deliberate attempts to bypass restricted areas may be considered more serious.
Appeal decisions are made by the Chungas World Server Owner and, where appropriate, other authorised Chungas World staff.
Chungas World will consider appeals fairly, but it cannot guarantee a particular outcome.
Staff may consider the circumstances of each individual case when reviewing an appeal.
Where reasonably possible, an appeal should be reviewed by someone who was not directly responsible for the original enforcement decision.
Where this is not possible, Chungas World may arrange another appropriate review.
Information provided during an appeal will be handled responsibly.
Appeal information may be shared with authorised Chungas World staff where reasonably necessary to review the appeal or protect the community.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Chungas World Data Collection & Privacy Policy.
Once an appeal has been reviewed and a final decision has been communicated, Chungas World may consider the matter closed.
Further appeals may only be considered where significant new information or evidence is provided.
Chungas World may update this Appeals Policy when necessary.
The current version will be made available through the Chungas World website.
Members are responsible for following the current version of the policy.
