Chungas World operates and maintains the Chungas World minecraft server, systems, infrastructure, features, and services used by the Chungas World community.
This Server Administration & Maintenance Policy explains how Chungas World may manage, maintain, update, test, modify, temporarily restrict, or close its servers and related services.
Server operations may require changes from time to time as Chungas World develops, fixes problems, introduces new features, or carries out maintenance.
This policy should be read alongside the Chungas World Community Rules & Code of Conduct, Game Server Rules Policy, Moderation & Enforcement Policy, Appeals Policy, Restricted Areas Policy, Staff Policy, CCTV & Recording Policy, Infrastructure & Property Policy, and Coasters Park Safety & Ride Operations Policy.
Chungas World may administer and manage its in-game servers and related systems as necessary.
Server administration may include:
Managing server settings.
Managing in-game infrastructure.
Managing authorised staff permissions.
Monitoring server performance.
Fixing technical problems.
Installing updates.
Testing new features.
Managing security issues.
Removing or modifying broken content.
Carrying out development work.
Managing server access.
Restarting or temporarily closing servers.
Chungas World may restart the server where necessary.
Server restarts may be required for reasons including:
Routine maintenance.
Server updates.
Technical problems.
Performance issues.
Security updates.
Configuration changes.
Development work.
Testing.
Other operational requirements.
Players should leave the server when instructed to do so during a planned or emergency restart.
Chungas World may temporarily restrict or suspend access to a server while maintenance is being carried out.
Maintenance may include:
Server updates.
Bug fixes.
Infrastructure changes.
Performance improvements.
Security work.
Development work.
Testing.
Replacement of outdated systems.
Other technical work.
Where reasonably practical, Chungas World may provide notice of significant planned maintenance.
Advance notice cannot always be guaranteed.
Chungas World may carry out emergency maintenance without advance notice where necessary.
Emergency maintenance may be required because of:
Serious technical problems.
Security concerns.
Server instability.
Major bugs or glitches.
Exploits.
Data or infrastructure problems.
Unexpected outages.
Other circumstances requiring immediate action.
The Admin Team may temporarily close all or part of the server while an issue is investigated or resolved.
Chungas World may update its servers, systems, maps, infrastructure, attractions, or other in-game content.
Updates may introduce:
New features.
New infrastructure.
Changes to existing infrastructure.
Bug fixes.
Performance improvements.
Security improvements.
Changes to gameplay systems.
Changes to Coasters Park or other Chungas World locations.
Other development changes.
Updates may also remove or modify existing features where they are no longer required or are being replaced.
Chungas World may carry out development and testing work on its servers.
Development work may involve temporary changes to normal gameplay or access.
Testing may include:
New attractions.
New infrastructure.
New server features.
Ride testing.
Security testing.
Performance testing.
Bug testing.
Other development projects.
Players may be temporarily restricted from areas or features being tested.
Players must not deliberately interfere with authorised testing or development work.
Chungas World may temporarily close a server, location, attraction, facility, or other area where necessary.
Temporary closures may be used for:
Maintenance.
Development.
Testing.
Security.
Technical problems.
Infrastructure changes.
Ride maintenance.
Events or special activities.
Other operational reasons.
Players must follow closure signs, announcements, and instructions from authorised staff.
Chungas World cannot guarantee that its servers or services will always be available.
Outages may occur because of:
Technical failures.
Server provider issues.
Game updates.
Network problems.
Maintenance.
Security incidents.
Unexpected errors.
Other circumstances outside Chungas World's direct control.
Chungas World will seek to restore affected services where reasonably possible.
Chungas World may make changes to improve server performance and stability.
This may include removing, changing, limiting, or replacing infrastructure or features that negatively affect server performance.
Players should not deliberately create excessive server load or use in-game systems in a way that intentionally causes performance problems.
Server administration may require changes to Chungas World infrastructure.
This may include:
Removing buildings.
Removing unused homes.
Removing or replacing shops.
Changing roads or pathways.
Changing attractions.
Changing ride areas.
Moving facilities.
Changing security systems.
Adding new infrastructure.
Other development changes.
Infrastructure changes are managed in accordance with the Chungas World Infrastructure & Property Policy.
Chungas World may make technical changes that affect in-game content, player progress, property, items, configurations, or server data where necessary.
Where reasonably possible, Chungas World will seek to avoid unnecessary loss of player progress or content. However, Chungas World cannot guarantee that all in-game progress, property, items, configurations, or other content will always be preserved.
Technical failures, updates, development work, corruption, exploits, rollbacks, or other circumstances may result in changes to or loss of in-game content.
Where a serious technical issue affects the server, Chungas World may restore or roll back parts of the server where technically possible and considered necessary.
A rollback may be used to address:
Server corruption.
Major exploits.
Serious bugs.
Data problems.
Security incidents.
Major technical failures.
Other circumstances requiring restoration.
A rollback may result in some recent changes or progress no longer being available.
Chungas World may temporarily restrict access or make immediate server changes where a security vulnerability, exploit, glitch, or other technical threat is identified.
Players must not deliberately exploit technical problems to gain an unfair advantage or disrupt Chungas World services.
Players who discover serious bugs, exploits, or security issues should report them to the Chungas World Admin Team rather than deliberately abusing them.
Players must not deliberately interfere with Chungas World server operations or technical systems.
This includes attempting to:
Crash or overload a server.
Bypass server restrictions.
Exploit technical vulnerabilities.
Interfere with authorised maintenance.
Disrupt server systems.
Gain unauthorised administrative access.
Bypass security measures.
Deliberately interfere with server updates or testing.
Unauthorised interference may result in serious enforcement action under Chungas World policies.
Authorised Chungas World Admin Team members may carry out server administration and maintenance duties where required for their role.
Staff may receive permissions that are not available to ordinary players.
Staff must use these permissions responsibly and in accordance with the Chungas World Staff Policy.
Staff must not use administrative access for personal benefit, unfair gameplay advantages, or unauthorised purposes.
During maintenance or development work, authorised staff may access restricted areas, systems, or infrastructure where necessary.
Staff access does not give permission to use administrative systems for unrelated personal activities.
Staff must follow applicable security and confidentiality requirements when carrying out maintenance or development work.
Where reasonably practical, Chungas World may announce significant planned maintenance, closures, updates, or other major server changes.
Announcements may be provided through official Chungas World communication channels.
Chungas World is not required to provide advance notice where doing so would be impractical, unnecessary, or could interfere with security or emergency response.
Chungas World does not guarantee uninterrupted access to its servers, services, locations, attractions, infrastructure, or features.
Temporary or permanent changes may occur as Chungas World develops and maintains its services.
Players should not assume that a particular feature, location, attraction, building, or server configuration will remain permanently available.
Players are responsible for following reasonable server-related instructions from authorised Chungas World staff.
Players must:
Follow temporary closure instructions.
Leave areas that have been closed or restricted.
Follow maintenance instructions.
Avoid interfering with testing or development.
Report serious technical problems where appropriate.
Not deliberately exploit outages, bugs, or glitches.
Failure to follow this policy may result in enforcement action.
Depending on the circumstances, enforcement may include:
A warning.
Removal from an affected area.
Temporary restriction.
Kick from the server.
Temporary suspension or ban.
Permanent ban.
Removal of access to Chungas World services.
Serious attempts to compromise, disrupt, or interfere with Chungas World server operations may result in immediate enforcement without a prior warning.
Where enforcement action is taken under this policy, the affected member may use the Chungas World Appeals Policy where an appeal is available.
