Chungas World is committed to maintaining a professional, fair, responsible, and welcoming Admin Team.
This Staff Policy explains the responsibilities, expectations, powers, and conduct requirements for members of the Chungas World Admin Team and other authorised staff.
This policy should be read alongside the Chungas World Community Rules & Code of Conduct, Game Server Rules Policy, Moderation & Enforcement Policy, Appeals Policy, CCTV & Recording Policy, and Data Collection & Privacy Policy.
This policy applies to authorised members of the Chungas World Admin Team and any other person given official staff responsibilities.
Different staff roles may have different permissions and responsibilities.
Staff members must only use the permissions and access provided to them for their authorised role.
Staff members are expected to act professionally and respectfully when representing Chungas World.
Staff must:
Treat players and community members respectfully.
Remain professional when dealing with disagreements.
Avoid unnecessary arguments.
Communicate clearly and appropriately.
Follow Chungas World policies and instructions.
Act in the best interests of the Chungas World community.
Use good judgement when dealing with incidents.
Being a member of staff does not give anyone permission to behave abusively or disrespectfully towards members.
Staff members may be responsible for helping to:
Maintain order on Chungas World servers.
Enforce Chungas World rules.
Respond to player reports.
Investigate incidents.
Assist players with appropriate issues.
Protect Chungas World properties and systems.
Monitor restricted areas where authorised.
Assist with events and activities.
Identify and report security concerns.
Support the wider Chungas World Admin Team.
Staff members should carry out their responsibilities fairly and responsibly.
Staff powers and permissions are provided to help staff perform their duties.
Staff members must not use their powers for personal benefit or to gain an unfair advantage.
Staff must not:
Abuse administrative commands or permissions.
Use staff powers to win or influence gameplay for themselves.
Punish someone because of a personal disagreement.
Give themselves or others unauthorised advantages.
Spawn, create, remove, or modify items for personal benefit where not authorised.
Use staff permissions to bypass normal rules for personal reasons.
Use administrative access to interfere with another staff member without a legitimate reason.
Staff should enforce Chungas World rules fairly and consistently.
When making moderation decisions, staff should consider:
The rule that may have been broken.
The seriousness of the incident.
The available evidence.
The circumstances of the incident.
Previous relevant enforcement where appropriate.
The impact on other members.
Staff should not intentionally give harsher or more lenient treatment to someone because of personal relationships, disagreements, or preferences.
Players are expected to follow reasonable instructions from authorised staff while participating in Chungas World activities.
Staff should only give instructions that are reasonably connected to:
Community safety.
Rule enforcement.
Server management.
Events or activities.
Protection of Chungas World services or properties.
Staff should avoid giving unnecessary or unreasonable instructions.
Only authorised members of the Chungas World Admin Team may access Chungas World CCTV systems.
Staff members with CCTV access must use it responsibly and only for legitimate Chungas World purposes.
The CCTV system does not automatically record or store footage.
An authorised Admin Team member may manually record a CCTV view where reasonably necessary, in accordance with the Chungas World CCTV & Recording Policy.
Staff must not:
Use CCTV to spy on players for personal reasons.
Use CCTV to harass or target players.
Make unnecessary recordings.
Share CCTV views or recordings with unauthorised people.
Use CCTV to gain an unfair personal advantage.
Abuse CCTV permissions.
Staff may have access to information that is not available to ordinary community members.
Staff must handle confidential information responsibly.
This may include:
Player reports.
Appeals.
Moderation information.
Private messages.
CCTV recordings.
Administrative information.
Security information.
Personal information.
Staff must not share confidential information with unauthorised people unless there is a legitimate reason and appropriate permission.
Staff members may sometimes receive personal information from players through reports, forms, appeals, or other communications.
Staff must only access and use personal information where reasonably necessary for their role.
Staff must not:
Share personal information without authorisation.
Use personal information for personal reasons.
Use private information to harass or target someone.
Attempt to obtain unnecessary personal information.
Store personal information in unauthorised locations.
Personal information must be handled in accordance with the Chungas World Data Collection & Privacy Policy.
Staff members may have authorised access to areas marked:
Staff Only.
Private Access.
Keep Out.
Authorised Personnel Only.
Restricted Area.
No Entry.
Staff Access Only.
Ride Area Keep Out.
Staff must only access restricted areas when necessary for their role or when otherwise authorised.
Staff must not allow unauthorised players to enter staff-only areas without permission.
Staff should not use staff-only access for personal activities or unfair gameplay advantages.
Chungas World staff vehicles, equipment, accounts, systems, and other resources must be used responsibly.
Staff must not use official resources for unauthorised personal purposes.
Where staff resources are provided for administrative duties, staff should return, remove, or otherwise properly manage them when no longer required.
Staff should treat player reports seriously and responsibly.
When investigating a report, staff should:
Review the available information.
Consider relevant evidence.
Avoid making assumptions without reasonable evidence.
Keep sensitive information appropriately confidential.
Take appropriate action where a rule has been broken.
Not every report will result in enforcement action.
Staff may request additional information where necessary.
Staff should be aware that reports may sometimes be incomplete, mistaken, or deliberately misleading.
Staff should consider the available evidence before taking serious enforcement action.
Members who deliberately submit false or malicious reports may themselves be subject to enforcement under the Chungas World Moderation & Enforcement Policy.
Staff members should avoid handling cases where they have a significant personal conflict of interest.
For example, a staff member should consider asking another authorised staff member to review a matter involving:
A close friend.
A personal dispute.
A person they have previously argued with.
A situation where they may personally benefit from the outcome.
Where another staff member is available, the matter may be reassigned for fairness.
Where reasonably possible, an appeal should be reviewed by someone who was not directly responsible for the original enforcement decision.
Staff reviewing an appeal should consider the information provided by the member and any relevant evidence.
Staff must not deliberately reject an appeal simply because they disagree personally with the person making the appeal.
The Chungas World Appeals Policy provides further information about the appeals process.
Staff communication should remain appropriate and professional.
Staff must not use their position to:
Threaten players unnecessarily.
Insult or humiliate members.
Encourage harassment.
Disclose confidential information.
Create unnecessary arguments.
Intimidate members into accepting a decision.
Staff may be firm when enforcing rules, but should remain respectful.
Staff members are responsible for protecting their staff accounts and permissions.
Staff must:
Keep account credentials secure.
Not deliberately share staff access with unauthorised people.
Report suspected account compromise.
Report suspicious activity involving staff systems.
Follow reasonable security instructions from the Chungas World Admin Team.
Staff must not allow another person to use their staff permissions unless specifically authorised.
Using a staff position improperly may result in staff disciplinary action.
Examples may include:
Abusing administrative commands.
Using staff powers for personal gain.
Using CCTV improperly.
Sharing confidential information.
Targeting players because of personal disagreements.
Giving unauthorised advantages to friends.
Using staff access to enter restricted areas for personal reasons.
Deliberately ignoring rules for personal benefit.
Using staff permissions to avoid consequences for their own actions.
Chungas World may take action where a staff member breaches this policy or misuses their position.
Depending on the circumstances, action may include:
Informal warning.
Formal warning.
Removal of specific permissions.
Temporary removal from staff duties.
Demotion or change of staff role.
Suspension from staff duties.
Removal from the Chungas World Admin Team.
Removal of access to Chungas World services.
A community ban where appropriate.
Serious misconduct may result in immediate removal from staff without a prior warning.
Members may report concerns about staff conduct to the Chungas World Server Owner or another authorised member of the Admin Team.
Reports should include relevant information where possible, such as:
The staff member involved.
What happened.
When it happened.
Where it happened.
Any relevant screenshots, recordings, or other evidence.
Reports should be made honestly and responsibly.
Chungas World may remove a person from the Admin Team where it is considered necessary.
Reasons may include:
Serious misconduct.
Abuse of staff powers.
Repeated failure to follow Chungas World policies.
Security concerns.
Loss of trust in the staff member's ability to perform their role responsibly.
Inactivity where the staff role requires active participation.
Other circumstances affecting the operation or safety of Chungas World.
Chungas World may decide whether a staff member remains in their role based on the circumstances of the individual case.
Being a member of the Chungas World Admin Team does not automatically exempt a staff member from Chungas World rules.
Staff are expected to follow applicable community and game server rules unless a specific staff duty requires otherwise.
Any staff-only permissions should only be used for legitimate staff responsibilities.
Chungas World may update this Staff Policy when necessary.
The current version will be made available through the Chungas World website.
Staff members are responsible for following the current version of this policy.
